Role & Responsibilities

• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience

• Leadership & Team Management
  • 4+ years experience
  • More than 10 years of extensive experience in the industry
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Manage task allocation, code reviews, and ensure high-quality code output.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, to define and deliver software solutions.

• Technical Architecture & Development
  • Architect and develop scalable cloud and IoT applications using TypeScript, JavaScript implementing microservices/event based architectures.
  • Design and implement AWS solutions with services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others using Cloud Native Components.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure streamlined development and automated deployments.
  • Understand Frontend tasks with Vue framework to delegate as team lead.
  • Deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) on AWS with tools like CDK or CloudFormation.

• Agile & Process Optimization
  • Drive and manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring a collaborative, transparent, and efficient workflow. We use Jira.
  • Promote best practices in coding, documentation, testing, and deployment to ensure high quality and reliability of the software.

• Strategic Decision-Making
  • Participate in high-level architectural discussions and decision-making with senior leadership.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend the best solutions for long-term scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance in all IoT and cloud-based applications.
