About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps / Systems Engineer to join our Edge Operations team. You will play a key role in keeping our distributed applications running reliably at scale with a focus on deployment automation, systems monitoring, and lifecycle management of Docker - and Greengrass-based components.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Configure and manage Docker - based applications and related services in production environments.  
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and system behavior to identify and resolve performance or configuration issues.  
• Troubleshoot deployment, runtime, and integration problems for edge applications.  
• Validate system robustness through testing and diagnostic workflows.  
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized and Greengrass-based deployments.  
• Use Python and Bash to automate operational processes and handle edge-specific lifecycle logic.  
• Work across Linux-based systems to ensure reliability and proper configuration, use OS - based tools, logging and services to resolve problems.  
• Interact with cloud APIs and SDKs to manage infrastructure and data flows.

You Might Be a Fit If You

• Have a solid understanding of Linux systems, networking and good foundation in cloud.   
• Can build, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized applications, and have strong interest in their orchestration.  
• Are familiar with cloud platforms (AWS in particular) and edge computing concepts.  
• Understand the challenges of deploying and maintaining systems in remote or resource-constrained environments.  
• Are comfortable writing maintainable automation scripts in Python and Bash.  
• Enjoy collaborating across teams to build solutions that scale cleanly and run reliably.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with AWS IoT Greengrass or similar edge/cloud frameworks.  
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline management (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).  
• Familiarity with hardware-interfacing, industrial deployments, or embedded devices.
