🚀Job Vacancy: AWS Data Engineer
🌆 Location: Poland , Kraków
☝ Cooperation: Hybrid - 3 days office 2 days remote
⏰ Contract: B2B, Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our Machine Learning (ML) team. This role focuses solely on data engineering; no data science experience is required. You will be responsible for setting up robust data pipelines, deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and working with large datasets to support our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines to support ML workflows and applications.
- Deploy and manage IaC, ensuring seamless integration with various data sources.
- Collaborate with the ML team to ensure data flows efficiently and at scale.
- Utilize AWS services, including CDK, Lambdas, and API Gateways, to create and - optimize data solutions.
- Work with large datasets (>1TB), ensuring performance and scalability.
- Apply Python programming best practices, including modules, packaging, and testing.
- Optimize Python concurrency and serialization for performance and scalability.
- Utilize tools such as Docker for containerization and deployment.
Experience & Skills:
- Python 3: Strong expertise in Python modules, packaging, concurrency, and - performance engineering.
- API Calls & Lambdas: Proficient in making API calls and deploying Python-based AWS - Lambdas.
- Data Engineering Tools: Experience with Pandas, Spark, and Polars for processing and managing large datasets.
- Large Datasets: Proven ability to work with datasets larger than 1TB.
- JupyterLab: Experience with JupyterLab is preferable.
- Docker: Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment.
- AWS: Strong working knowledge of AWS services including CDK, Lambdas, and API Gateways.
